The 2009 "Emerging Athletes' Sports School was held 17-21 January.
It was based at the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health in Mairangai Bay.

This year was a first in that skiing was added to the programme.

Left: Award for most improved performance in athletics went to Emma Foy from Dargaville - an all rounder!

Mary Sports School 2009
This year the athletes voted for the Personality Award. They chose Mary Fisher from Upper Hutt; a well deserved winner.

POWERLIFTING
