world championships Sao Paulo 2007
The 3rd IBSA (International Blind Sports Federation) World Championships and Games will be held in Sao Paulo, Brasil in July 2007.For sports that lead to the 2008 Paralympic Games, it will be the last opportunity for athletes/teams to qualify for the Beijing Games.
This will be the second IBSA World Championships for Blind Sport New Zealand since taking the IBSA membership in 2001.
The goal is to triple the size of the Quebec team for this event.
Athletes will have to meet qualifying standards in most sports.
The sports will be track and field, swimming, goalball, judo, 5-a-side football and powerlifting.
